FVR blamed for high power rates
Senators, both from the administration and oppo-sition blocs, yesterday took turns in grilling former President Fidel V. Ramos, confronting him for the high electricity rates in the country, when he appeared again before the Joint Congressional Power Commission (JCPC) to defend himself over his alleged involvement in the controversial sale of Masinloc coal-fired power plant.
