Emap Communications acquires Middle Eastern business news and information service
Emap plc (EMA.L) today announces that Emap Communications, its B2B division, has acquired AME Info FZ-LLC (AME Info), an online business news and information service in the Middle East, for an initial cash consideration of $24 million, with further deferred cash consideration payable of up to $5 million dependent on performance to 31 December 2006.

Microsoft Loses Another Exec to Google
Vic Gundotra, a 15-year veteran general manager at Microsoft Corp., has left the company to join rival Google Inc. in one year. Gundotra’s departure was first reported by Business 2.0 and confirmed by Mountain View, Calif.-based Google.
